About me:
Hi! I'm Tiffany Mejia. Yoga first came into my life when I simply wanted to improve my posture—and it worked! Over time, my practice not only helped me stand a little taller (about half an inch!) but also brought me a deep sense of balance and peace. More than 25 years later, yoga continues to be my anchor and my source of calm in a busy world.
While I began practicing for the physical benefits, yoga stayed in my life because of the clarity and serenity it brings to my mind and heart. I truly believe in the healing power of yoga—to ground us, to restore us, and to help us reconnect with ourselves and each other.
I completed my yoga teacher training with the School Yoga Institute in Costa Rica, and my full-time work is teaching elementary-aged children and mentoring future educators at the university level. Teaching has always been my passion, and sharing yoga is one of the most joyful extensions of that calling.
I’m also trained in Yoga for Eating Disorders, certified in Reiki Level 2, and love incorporating crystal sound bowls into my classes and retreats to deepen relaxation and energetic balance.
Yoga has given me a profound sense of community and grounding, and one of my greatest joys is sharing that experience with others. Since 2022, I’ve been planning and hosting yoga retreats designed to bring together like-minded women seeking rest, renewal, and authentic connection. There’s something truly magical about the way a retreat opens space for healing, support, and shared growth.
I hope you’ll join me for a yoga class, a sound bath, or a retreat—and experience for yourself the peace, connection, and empowerment that yoga can bring.
